how do youngsters find popularity nowadays?
by being twits
by losing whatever originality they have to whatever is 'popular'
by giving in
by being vulgar
by being b*tches and b*stards
by acting emo
by acting tough
by giving up your old friends to get new ones
but seriously,
what are they trying to do?
okay, since the meaning of popularity is subjective,
i will tell you what i think of it as in this context.
popularity would be having many friends
(that probably dont give a shit about you)popularity would be surrounded by many people all the time
(that think you're popular and what the popularity to rub off)popularity would be to be in the limelight all the time
(right.)so,is this what they want?
i'd say for some,yes, for others,no.
and i'd like to push some of the blame to television.
what are they promoting?
for youths to be bimbotic?
for youths to attain that idealistic image of 'popularity' like they show?
for youths to be slim and in the end turn anorexic?
for youths to give up their original pursuits and try to be stars?
for youths to pick up bad habits?
for youths to learn how to use guns and fight against each other?
for youths to learn what is 'cool'?
for youths to learn how to smoke?
i mean, seriously!
okay, you want me to say: YOUNGSTERS! GET A LIFE!
but although they are the biggest part of it,
maybe if we change some other things in the exvironment,
they'd change too.
it's alarming to see how they're getting corrupt.

bgr was practically non-existent in pri schs!

primary 5 students hanging out arnd shopping centres with their bfs and gfs?

is that what we really want?
and also, how did 'cutting' become a part of life?

well,of course they arent.
there might be the saying that
actions speak louder than words.
but look at the way that they talk!
the english language is losing it's beauty!
it's losing everything that structured it!

hacker becomes haxx0rs.
if you ask them about literature,
will they be able to convey what they really mean in their answers?
or even worse,
would they even understand what it writes?
protagonists?
antagonists?
do they know what they mean?
difficulty conveying what they want to say?
